Head of Editorial and Content for Pharmaceutical Company

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic thinker to join a leading pharmaceutical company as the Head of Editorial and Content. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the content strategy, ensuring consistency in messaging, and driving engagement across various channels. You will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, excellent editorial skills, and a proven track record of managing content teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support product launches, marketing campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
  • Lead and inspire a team of content creators, editors, and subject matter experts, providing strategic guidance on content development, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, compelling content for various channels, including digital platforms, publications, film and events. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards in all content produced by the team.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs, to gather insights and align content strategies with business objectives.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, key opinion leaders, and industry influencers.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to adapt content strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in editorial and content leadership within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality content.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align content initiatives with business goals.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
