VP Product – London FinTech business, hybrid working.
FRONT FinTech Recruitment is recruiting a VP Product for a growing financial technology company serving institutional clients across the UK and Europe.
Reporting into the Chief Product and Technology Officer, the VP Product will lead a team of Product Managers across several product areas and take responsibility for turning commercial, customer and regulatory priorities into a clear product strategy and roadmap.
The business has an established client base and proven platform, but is continuing to invest in product capability as it expands into new markets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the product management function across multiple product areas
- Own product planning, prioritisation and roadmap development
- Work closely with Engineering leadership on delivery and technical priorities
- Engage directly with major financial services customers
- Improve product discovery, customer research and feedback processes
- Establish clearer product performance measures and reporting
- Recruit and develop senior Product Managers
- Work with Sales and Customer Success on market and client requirements
- Support senior leadership with longer-term product strategy
- Contribute to board and investor discussions around product growth
Experience required
You will have held senior product leadership responsibility within FinTech, payments, banking technology or another regulated technology environment.
Experience working on B2B products for institutional or enterprise customers is strongly preferred.
You should be comfortable balancing customer requirements, regulatory considerations, commercial priorities and technical constraints, while still maintaining a clear longer-term product direction.
Previous experience managing Product Managers and building stronger product processes will be important.
The opportunity
The company has established revenue and institutional customers, but the product function is still evolving. The incoming VP Product will have real influence over product strategy, team structure and future hiring as the business continues to grow.
